FELLOW COOPER COMPANIES

Worshipful Company of Coopers of London

The Incorporation has developed close links with the London Coopers, particularly since Past Master of the London Coopers Keith Brown was Deacon of the Incorporation in 2008/09. We have exchange hospitality at our annual dinners for many years (recently becoming a weekend event in Glasgow) and have generously supported each other's good causes. Quite a number of London Coopers have joined the Incorporation and vice versa. There is also an annual golf match. The two companies dined with HRH the Earl of Wessex in Coopers' Hall in London in 2009 and in 2011 the companies held a joint meeting and dinner in the Trades Hall in Glasgow to further their co-operation.

We exchange hospitality at our annual dinners and the Irvine Coopers have also attended the Earl of Wessex award ceremonies.
