The Earl of Wessex Awards 2010

The Incorporation of Coopers Master court with HRH The Earls of Wessex, the Lord Provost and the Deacon Convener.

HRH The Earl of Wessex visited the Incorporation of Coopers in November. In this his second such visit to the Craft, he presented the Earl of Wessex Awards for Cooperage certificates to seven apprentices. The Glasgow Sea Cadets, who are sponsored by the Coopers, joined the event and His Royal Highness presented two certificates to two cadets.

Accompanied by the L  ord Provost, His Royal Highness met the Deacon Convener, Deacon Bill Scott of the Coopers and members of the Master Court who are pictured right. There was a buffet reception following the presentation of the awards and His Royal Highness spent time meeting and chatting with members of the Incorporation   and   gu  ests  .
