Beneficiaries' Tea Party 2008

This year's Beneficiaries' Tea Party was held in the Trades Hall on Tuesday 20th May.

The Deacons and Visitor, with wives/partners, hosted tables and ensured that the party was enjoyed by the one hundred beneficiaries who spent the afternoon making new friends and renewing old acquaintances.

Entertainment was provided by students from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and everyone enjoyed the food and refreshments on offer.

Unfortunately the Collector Elect and his Lady were unable to attend the tea party when it is the tradition for them to be formally introduced to the House beneficiaries.
