Kinship Care Seminar

6th February 2019: 6.00 for 6.30pm at Trades Hall

The Seminar aims to:

• Inform Attendees of the issues associated with Kinship care

• Increase awareness of the Initiative to members of the House and public

• Inform members and guests of the progress of the Initiative to date

• Bring together the Kinship Care community with the members of the Trades House

• Encourage continued engagement and support from the 14 Incorporated Trades and House Members

Commonweal Awards Presentation Evening

The Commonweal Awards are held bi-annually in March and September.

All award winners are invited to an Awards Presentation Evening where they will receive their award and a certificate, as well as have the chance to meet and mingle with other award winners, members of

the Commonweal Committee and Chain Gang.

Fundraising Fashion Show

Join us for an afternoon of fashion, fizz and fun in aid of the Deacon Convener’s charities.

Reception and exhibition from 12.30, show and afternoon tea at 1.30pm on Sunday 31 March 2019 (Mothering Sunday – treat your mum!). Featuring the new season of international fashion by Moda Dea.

Craftex 2019

Thurs 6 June from 10am to 5.00pm, Fri 7 and Sat 8 June from 10am to 4.30pm

Visit this stunning exhibition and see the best of student's work from the colleges of Glasgow. The standard is incredibly high, and with over 50 categories ranging from floristry to plasterwork, woodwork to photography and nail art to DVD production you can see a huge range of modern day crafts in the stunning setting of Trades Hall.

Trades House Education Festival

This was launched in 2018, and creates a unified platform for the many educational projects Trades House supports and runs from 3rd to 17th June.
