Lord Provost Eva Bolander presents Trades House & 14 Crafts with award
DC Tom McInally was honoured to collect the Lord Provost’s Award in the category of Charity for the year 2019 on behalf of Trades House and the 14 Incorporated Crafts on Friday evening. Eleven awards were presented at a ceremony in the City Chambers yesterday to 'honour the men and women who have dedicated their professional lives to public service, worked selflessly for their communities or distinguished themselves in creative industries.'

Incorporation of Bakers - Networking Evening and Bakers awards
The successful Bakers Networking Evening was held on 30th May in association with the City of Glasgow’s Bakery and Hospitality Departments. This annual event helps students meet leaders in the fields of baking and hospitality, and two Excellence in Bakery awards were presented to the best students in the NC and the NPA courses.

Inc. of Gardeners Mini Garden Festival
The Incorporation of Gardeners held their first Mini Garden Festival in May, with

over 20 schools, colleges and charities from across Glasgow showing off their green-fingered skills, hoping that this encourages them to take part in gardening shows and other horticultural activities.
There was be a real mix of participants, including primary schools; a team from Glasgow Clyde College; ENABLE Glasgow (a charity working with people who have learning difficulties) and also GP Plantscape which supplies indoor plant displays to offices across Scotland.
