More Action from the Evening Times Awards

Trades House was honoured to sponsor the Glasgow Times Community Champions Awards, which illustrate the enormous commitment and good-will of the people of Glasgow to help others in their community.

Late DC Tom McInally was a judge and presented some of the Awards on Friday evening. Tom said; "The Community Champion Awards highlight some of this city’s most inspirational people, which in turn increases our awareness and will help us reach more individuals and groups that might benefit the most from our support."

"We have been extremely impressed with all the entries and applaud them all for their hard work, with particular congratulations to the winners for their incredible contribution."

Deacon Bill Peebles...

Deacon Bill Peebles of the Incorporation of Gardeners was there supporting the gardening team from Govan High School, which won the 'Young Award': a great accolade. The school pupils had worked hard all year, with direction and assistance from Bill and the Incorporation, to transform an unused, derelict courtyard at the school into a tranquil Japanese garden, where children can enjoy some quite time in their often stressful schedules.
